Just something Mark and I are kicking around, Nothing is concrete, we are just seeing what some of you might be interested in
and other items or suggestions that anyone can think of please do not hesitate to speak up 
We are trying to keep PlanetAMD64 from becoming just another obscure site that fades into the night 
We are all in this together 
So come on and post those thoughts and questions no matter how obscure you think they are, as long as you think it might help the site it is not wrong.

App of the week, where people can suggest their favorite apps and such, like FCleaner or CCleaner for system cleanup and optimization, might offer someone a new program that helps them or give them an alternative to whatever they are currently using. (As an example, even a simple mention such as: "Recently found FCleaner and it is very much like CCleaner but with some improved options, it is also free.")

I voted for more reviews. I like keeping up with the new stuff coming out. And I read that MS is already thinking 128 bit OS in the near future.

I voted for several suggestions, allot of good ones there. But I think we need some more topics that are 64 bit related. Not just 64 bit compatible. I know there's not that much true 64 bit software out there. The 64 bit drivers are pretty much available for most the hardware now. So maybe some benchmarking comparing 64bit to 32bit, to show the benefits of 64 bit?

According to MS, windows 8 (or whatever it's called) may be 128 bit.. maybe an additional name planetAMD128.com? :)

YES, please keep us informed on what you hear about this. If even one tiny hint is made that 128bit is coming soon, THIS will be what rejuvenates the planet. PlanetAMD128.com here we come.... Hmm maybe we should change it to Planet128bit.com? Weird thing is 128bit is not needed any time soon as 64bit allows for MUCH more memory addressing than systems can physically handle currently...

didn't mean to hijack, but I quizzed our MS account rep about it recently and he'd never heard of such a thing. Could be all the posts on the net are just BS, or it could be that it's way to early for that sort of info to have been disseminated to their account reps. If I were a gambling man I'd put my money on the former at this point (unfortunately).

I thought Sean had been contacting manufacturers to obtain free samples specifically for the reviews? If you guys had a staff reviewer, you could go down that path once again.\

I'm pretty busy at the moment and I wouldn't be able to dedicate the necessary time. I'm guessing the existing staff must be in the same boat.

Long story or at least one I have no specific comments on, just saying we would need product to review but I am doubtful of that being easily accomplished.

Im going to leave this up for a few more days. I can already see where its going but I would like some more feedback.
