Please VOTE and POST and support the 64bit community!
If we dont ask for 64bit software and drivers, we are all going to have to wait a very long time for it otherwise yes.gif

Hi all,

I used to use Outpost Pro on XP 32bit, and it was a great software firewall, I have been posting recently on the Outpost forum asking for a 64bit version, and the peeps over there think that Windows XP x64, is used by so little users that they should wait 2-3 years before releasing a 64bit version which I think is just ludicrous! realmad.gif blink.gif

1)Please could everyone vote in this poll that they have for "Development of 64-bit version of Outpost" --> Vote HERE

2)If you wanna have your say about it then post it here: --> Post HERE (thread closed now - but have a look anyway wink.gif)

3)Also you can send a message direct to Agnitum --> >>HERE<<

Thanks, Xee

Till Outpost comes, you hav to good solutions: the best is NOD 32 running with 64-bit and a free one Avast Home. yes.gif

Anyway yes I already have NOD32 64bit version (great stuff), and I think I will stick with windows firewall for now plus my router's NAT & firewall wink.gif I had issues with the nvidia firewall affecting one of my programs huh.gif

Keep voting peeps its gone from 5 to 8 votes since my first post above! :)

c'mon guys, more votes and comments, they still believe that there aren't many 64bit users yikes.gif
one of the forum mods just posted this:
QUOTE
It won't be soon. There just aren't many users on 64 bit and there won't be for quite a while. Other priorities have to be taken care of first with the available resources at Agnitum. It is inevitible if the future just not a priority now.
Regards,
Chris

there's stll only 16 votes for a 64bit version rolleyes.gif i thought we'd do better than that
we need to show them just how many people have made the move to 64 bit!

and we really do need a decent 64bit firewall, one that actally works properly

rolleyes.gif there's still only 18 votes for this......

i mean come on, there's plenty of threads here asking for compatible firewall software, so now is the time to do something about it!

we should show them that the demmand is there

the comment "There just aren't many users on 64 bit and there won't be for quite a while" really annoyed me.
They (along with most companies) believe that the x64 userbase doesn't extist yet

i know i'm just repeating myself here, but we really do NEED to show these companies how many x64 users there really are

Let's Prove Them Wrong

ah well.... i guess nobody else wants a decent software firewall then

this thread has had over 300 views, but there's still only 19 votes for a 64bit outpost :( and 5 of those were already there
