Questions, comments, and suggestions regarding the PlanetChess script are also welcome.

PlanetChess v1.0 Final (11 March 2006) _____[DOWNLOAD]_______________________

PlanetChess is a modification of a modification of WebChess v0.9.0CVS by Benjam Welker.

Installation:
1- create a MySQL database for the script
2- create a MySQL user to access the MySQL database
3- edit the \includes\config.inc.php file for your configuration
4- upload all files and folders to your server
5- Make sure that the PGN directory has 777 permissions
5- direct your browser to: http://[yourdomain]/path/install.php

- ratings system
- activity tracker
- ratings list
- other things I can't remember

v0.1 Beta
- various cosmetic changes
- updated CSS
- added scrollbar to list tables that could become very long
- minor bug fixes
- replaced all display of real name with username
- rating system based on Elo system (not fully functional yet)
- updated install file
- relocated some files and functions
- formatted code with PolyStyle for improved legibility

Ummm before switching the chess games, it was fast as far as logging in and playing the games, but as soon as the site was moved to the planet it got really slow. Anyway we can fix this?

The Chess appelt is now in the Planet skin integrated, but still on Brewins Server and that is the reason why it so slow. yes.gif
I tested yesterday the one (Beta) that Brewin puted now on the Planet server and it's works like a charm. You just have to be a little patient because we (Brewin) are adding a few things and there are a few bugs to fix. Very soon we will be starting direct from the Planet and enjoy the game more than ever. thmbup.gif
