Now i've had my HP Pavilion ze2347EA Notebook PC with Windows XP Pro x64 for about 1˝ now, and I still haven't found the necesarry drivers... so I am getting a (64)bit frustrated now!!

I have allready installed some drivers, but I still need drivers for:

- Conexant CX20493-58 CG Modem Driver

- Conexant CX20468-31 AC97 Audio Driver and Audio Driver EQ

- HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology

- TI-PCI 6xx1/7xx1 Cardbus Driver

- ATI Radeon Xpress 200M (don't know if thats the motherboard or the graphics card, or if ATI even supports it)

- Broadcom 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11ag Network Adapters

I have allready checked the companys websites but without succes. I've checked almost every forum link, still without succes. so if you can give me the download link i'll buy you a beerin the airport biggrin.gif

I doubt you will find them. Older technology. Did you ask HP about driver support.

Greetings. Has anyone had any luck with the Broadcom 802.11 drivers for Windows x64? If not, what are folks doing about wireless network connections on their laptops? Using other (PCCard?) products?

Thanks for all suggestions!

go here
http://www.blackimperial.com/home/?page_id=13
scroll down to: 64bit drivers
click on: wireless

download those drivers and go into control panel and search for hardware, when it finds the wireless (pick it out) use those drivers ..
that is how i got my broadcom wireless to work in windows x64

short link to download:
http://www.lanknights.net/optendo/7510GX/7...reless%2064.zip
----

i have broadcom [bcm4318 airforce one 54g]

I've also been having problems getting the video card drivers to work. I found a modders tool made by patje
http://www.driverheaven.net/patje/
Theoretically it moddifies the regular 64 or 32 bit catylist drivers to work with manny of the unsupported mobility chips. I personally havn't gotten it to work because my computer has a bad rich text file or somthing which he uses for the install screen. However there are alot of people in that forum worshiping the ground he walks on for the too. So give it a try and see if it works better for you than it has for me.

If anyone else can get this tool to work for an Xpress 200m they should send me the moddified driver.

ps I'm assuming that the problem your having is the install wizard feeling that you have a missing INF file.

I have a BT/Wireless Combo that uses the Broadcom Chipset. Works in x64. What type of system have you got? What type of wireless?

Attached File  CPU_802.11_southbridge.zip ( 7.51MB ) Number of downloads: 295
Hello!
I have ACER aspire 5021wlmi, just installed windows pro 64bit.
Acer website got all needed x64 drivers, some are old, so i downloaded newer ones here:

ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
here are chipset drivers, download "South Bridge driver package"
ATI
(ACER's ATi radeon x700 drivers included southbridge drivers, but old ones)

broadcom 802.11 network adapter
here is driver from ACER site(might work for other laptops too)
AMBIT G (Broadcom solution) Wireless LAN driver (T60H906.00)" for XP-64BIT v3.100.64.0
ACER 5020 x64 drivers
worked fine, but i now dont have any broadcom software to control wlan, only have windows program. whit 32bit acer drivers broadcom software was included. if anyone knows where to get that broadcom software please tell me.

AMD turion x64 cpu driver others x64 cpu drivers too
AMD turion

here patje's modding tool:
driver heaven
Omega drivers (already modded):
Omega drivers

I tried and did get normal 6.2 catalyst to work by using modding tool and tried Omega drivers too, but when i used 3dmark2001SE i got lower performance whit these drivers then whit the ACER drivers
(whit 32bit windows, 3dmark gave wrong system information whit these drivers, and maube thats why i got lower performance results)

ps. my first post

Ok, I'm here to help, as I have JUST, FINALLY gotten my Radeon Mobile X200 drivers installed on Windows x64. NOWHERE was this spelled-out, although it is of course, retardedly obvious to those of us that used to always install drivers this way. Just so you know, you have to give-up the 'signed driver certificate' shyt... so just get over it.

I assume you have downloaded the latest drivers from ATI and have installed the .NET framework. If not, do so. I used the Display Drivers, Catalyst 6.3 from 3/8/06 for Windows x64. I also ran the South Bridge Drivers and rebooted before I figured out how to install the drivers. These can be found under 'Motherboard with ATI Graphics' as the 3rd item in the list Here.

I also assume that you have run the drivers and have gotten the INF error. If you haven't, go ahead and do so, but select Custom install and uncheck Catalyst Control Center. The point being, you will later need the files that are extracted to the C:\ATI\SUPPORT\ folder. Exit all programs and shutdown all spyware and viruses unsure.gif, if only temporarily.

Now, run Windows Device Manager (Start>Run>devmgmt.msc) and click the + next to Display adapters to reveal the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (which sucks). Right-click> Update Driver> Choose No: Next> Install from list...: Next> Don't Search...: Next> Have Disk> Browse> C:\ATI\SUPPORT\6-3_xp64_dd_ccc_30898\Driver\XP6A_INF> Select the file CA_30898.inf> Open> OK> Accept the Unsigned Driver Certificate> Finish> Reboot

Now, the annoying crap is over and if you open Device Manager you should see only the ATI Mobility Radeon X200 inside the Display adapters (double-click it and under the Driver tab my driver is dated 2/21/2006... this driver INF file is written before the whole driver package is completed, otherwise it would be 3/08/06).

After that I ran the ATI package again (uncheck the driver or just ignore any INF error), just be sure to complete the Catalyst Control Center (CCC) installation and reboot. And finally, only if you haven't already, run the ATI WDM Integrated driver and the South Bridge driver listed above, rebooting as necessary.

Finally, if you have a wide-screen LCD like me, the stretched screen is making girls look fat, so you will want to change your resolution in Display Properties to a wide screen format (e.g. 1280x800). The wide resolutions should be available to you now... Congrats.

I got the driver working, I simply downloaded the "6-4_xp64_dd_ccc_31489 1" from ati webbsite and used drivers from the "radeon xpress 200" instead for 200m.
Preformance is pretty good...

I dont know about you guys, but it seems that we need to have one thread that lists all possible hints ad info to getting laptops running using x64 XP. Maybe some of these threads should be compiled together to create a phat sticky.
