Hi Everybody,

I am runnning a Tyan K8S PRO, SuSe Linux 9.1 and Adaptec 2120S with 4 Drive RAID-5 array. I had a recent crash (my only one) where the mySQL tables got corrupted and I was completely shut out of the box. Had to make a trip to the co-lo.

The crash was just like someone cut power to the box, but that was not the case. Anyone else experiencing trouble with this setup? I am running the latest BIOS on the MB and 2120S, with the stock drivers from SuSe 9.1.

I am thinking about migrating to Gentoo, but not sure. I am a little leery of SuSe now after the Crash.

Anybody got any words of wisdon for me here with this situation?

Thanks in advance!! Thanks also to Guru for this FINE forum site!!
