Hi all,

Has anyone out there got any idea where I can find the drivers for an Acer Aspire 5003 so that it will run with XP Pro X64? depressed.gif g.gif

I been onto the Acer site, even sent an e-mail to them which was replied in an unsatisfactory manner, but I still can't find the drivers. Some say the Acer Ferrari 4000 drivers work and some say the Aspire 3000 one work. Well I can't find any X64 drivers for the Aspire 3000s and the Ferrari 4000, although X64 rated, do not want to oblige.

Any help would be greateful.

Phil

Hi all and thanks for the replies.

Now I seem to have a new problem. My DVD drive has stopped reading and writting DVD's! It still reads "produced" DVD's as with still reading and writting all forms of CD's.

Anyone with any ideas on this. I've re-installed everything, even re-installed windows from the factory disks, but for some reason no DVD writability.

regards,

Phil
