PlanetAMD64 Forum Rules PlanetAMD64 has been established for the benefit of the user community. As such, this site has certain guidelines for all users to follow. Failure to follow the guidelines set here will result in banishment. Advertising and Shameless self-promotion: You may NOT advertise websites or businesses graphically in your forum signature without express permission. You may also NOT promote yourself or ask for monetary gains for ANY reason without first getting express permission. This holds true even in the Spam threads. ANY post or signatures of such ads will be removed and deleted without further notice. If you like, you may list your favorite/personal websites in small text under your sig. Signatures should be no larger than 650 pixels by 140 pixels. If you wish to place a banner ad, contact Carlos Echenique for terms and conditions. If your website is considered adult in nature (erotic nudity, sexuality, stuff you don''t want your 6 year old seeing) please do not link to it. This is a family site. You may contact us at admins@planetamd64.com for any questions or concerns you may have. Thank You! Language: Berlitz once said "You really know a language when you can swear in it." No one needs to display their formidable command of the language. Please keep the colorful metaphors limited. Moderators: All forums are moderated. They are watching. Forums: Do not post links to warez or pirated software, or ask for warez or pirated software, PERIOD!!! We have a zero tolerance policy against users who break this rule. If you want to distribute this kind of information, go elsewhere. The forums are here for the sharing of knowledge and experience. By contributing, everyone benefits. Please do not flame other users. We are all here to help. The occasional joke or good-natured rib is fine, just don't let it get out of hand. Please do not cross-post or double-post, instead edit when possible. And for the sake of others, please "DO NOT SPAM!" We have dedicated areas for this type of behavior, including a Java based Chatroom and a SPAM forum. Use them... Downloads/Uploads: This is a directory of 64-bit drivers, applications and utilities. It is not a repository for pirated software, warez, hacks or cracks. All files uploaded are subject to Admin/Moderator approval. Also, please do not report to the Admins/Mods that you have just uploaded a file, Admins and Mods get a private message when files are awaiting approval and once approved the user is notified via private message or email. The uploads cannot be more than 30MB in size. We ask that if you do find a worth while 64-bit driver or app larger than 30MB that you link to the source. This helps conserve bandwidth. Photo Albums: NO PORN, PERIOD!!!... No racist, political, or other inflammatory subject matter. Remember, this site is global. What might not mean anything to you may be highly offensive to someone else's culture. Please keep that in mind. Donations: The site operates by advertising, sponsorship and user donations. If you would like to advertise here, please contact us first. Please donate if you can. All monies are used to improve the site''s facilities and capabilities. Again, you may contact Carlos "guru" Echenique or any Admin for any advertisement needs you may have at admins@planetamd64.com. Thank You! Rules Subject to Change: At any time these rules may change, or be updated by the staff. Beyond that, please enjoy the site and help it grow by contributing your time, knowledge and experiences. PRIME DIRECTIVE!
As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no PlanetAMD64 personnel or its users may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. PlanetAMD64 personnel or its users may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their computer unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation. Live Long and Process! ![]() |
