Nintendo has started making a new game called Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. It has pokemon colloseum graphics (3D) and the only trainers you battle are real people from around the world. Plus there is around 200 new pokemon in that game. You can also own shops and hotels.

Why would anyone over the age of 12 care about Pokemon?

Mine too, but it doesn't mean I care to read about it or learn about a new game. Man, there's already a plethora of those Pokemon games. Let's see, there's the original which I believe was yellow or that was the second edition, then there's ruby, sapphire, emerald - lemme know of missing ones and now Diamond and Pearl?? What's next??? Pokemon Onyx and Clear or how about Turquoise?? Nah, I'm just messin - it actually sounds pretty neat if one were into it. BTW, [edited]. hysterical.gif

Be nice now, everyone has their interests. there is no need to be insulting.

Although its sad to admit it - I did complete the Pokemon games - on an emulated gameboy on my PC. Although is it just me - or does everyone else find it a little cruel?

Capture wild animals - make them live in tiny balls - and then make them fight for you again and again and again.

Its a wonder it ever got on TV.

You should see the co...erm..poultry fights they have up here bob, same as with dogs. I keep away from that stuff though.

I thought it was a little bit like zelda, and you know what they say bob if you want to be a good gamer you have to play with everything

Where did you get that from? Only battle real people? tongue.gif Own shops and hotels... I mean, c'mon, you can't be serious! laughbounce2.gif
I mean, about nothing is known yet about that! You are probably someone who just wants to get attention.

But still, i like Pokémon much. I know, it may sound childish, but i find the games interesting.

Actually, most of the ones under 12 find Pokémon childish. The ones who play Pokémon most are around... hmm... 13-17. Serebii, the webmaster of most popular Pokémon site is atleast 18, as is most of the other site crew.

And, if anyone is interested: I AM 12.

I agree with everyone else here - a good game is a good game, regardless of whats in it. I have been playing Red Alert 2 again non stop for the past 2 weeks, it ran on my laptop so I gave it another go around, and have been hooked. The graphics are terrible but its got what so many games are missing now-a-days, that edge, that spark of gameplay.

There is too much enphasis on amazing graphics, and not enough of origionality for my liking in the games today. And I'm a big fan of RPG's too - thus I quite enjoyed pokemon blue (although not enough to do it all again)
