hi all
Hi A couple of months ago I posted a problem I was having with my home build pc crashing. It all pointed towards a fault hard drive. I changed my hard drive and all seemed to be ok. The pc is used for photography and I run Adobe CS2 with 2 gigs of crucial memory. Sometimes when I?m printing and adjusting photos simultaneously (they are 30meg files) the PC will just turn off and reboot. It gives me the option of resetting the bios or reverting back to the factory settings. I always reset the files or rather go into the bios and save and exit as I can?t find anything wrong. I have noticed that the cpu temp is often 42c when this happens but I didn?t think that was high, other times it will run at 34c even when I?m adjusting files. Any suggestion again would be appreciated. Thanks Lincolnlad

HI
I built a pc using the K8V SE Deluxe and an AMD 64 3400+. I'm having a problem with the system crashing and rebooting and with the bios resetting some of my alterations. When I look in my comp, manage system>event viewer >system log I can see that there are errors for "disc" and for service control manager. I have to say I don't know what these errors are referring to. Any help would be appreciated. Regards lincolnlad |
