I've recently purchased a second Sata Hard Drive and finally had it recognized by my Windows XP 64-bit installer program. So its now installed, alone on a big Hard drive (D), beside the other one (Windows XP Pro 32-bit SP 1) on the first Hard drive ©.

The problem is that Windows XP 64-bit doesn't boot. Right after I select it in the Dual boot menu, the screen becomes black and the computer reboots, and reboots, until I choose the 32-bit version.

My BIOS version is 1001,006, which I unsuccessfully tried to upgrade.

I'm sure this subject has been discussed for a while, but I just can't find any Installation Guide or article on the subject that helps.

Please help me! I can't wait to embark on the 64-bit family!
