I retired at age 50 in 2003, from a job as a senior systems analyst for a manufacturer of computerized industrial control systems.
I now enjoy building and maintaining AMD Athlon 64-based computers. I recently joined PlanetAMD64, and I am member art_l_j_PlanetAMD64 of Folding@Home. Personal Info

High-power computers (obviously).
High-power cars and trucks. I currently have a 400+ Horsepower 1997 Dodge 3/4 Ton Cargo Van (Ram 2500). When I was younger I had a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi (a real, Factory Original Hemi car, with the "R" Engine Code, one of only 165 made in 1970, 800+ Horsepower, with all the documentation), plus a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner (an original 440 Six-Pack car, with the "V" Engine Code, 500+ Horsepower, with the very rare Air Grabber hood). Retr0Bright restores vintage computer plastic to like-new condition
QUOTE Although James Wages' vintage Apple Macintosh SE/30 computer system worked, the external plastic had turned a dingy shade of yellow. Using a homemade solution of household chemicals, nicknamed "Retr0Bright," Wages was able to restore the plastic on the computer, keyboard, and mouse to like-new condition.
