I've been asked to look into why MSN webcam doesn't work for a user, and it turns out that they have told it (well... I.E.) to use a proxy and chat does work. It's just they are unable to have a webcam conference call.

I have not been able to find a setting that says "Only use proxy for chat" or "Don't use proxy for webcam" or anything else silly like that, so I was wondering if someone could enlighten me as to why it's not "just working" like Windows tools are supposed to?

Thanks in advance,

L.B.

Hi good folk,

I'm trying to perform a horrible work around due to some ISP hiccups, and I would like to know how to get I.E. to permit a web page to close it. At the moment it pops up a little warning, asking if it's OK for this page to close Internet Explorer, but I would like it to "just happen".

Any ideas?

TIA,

L.B.

P.S. Any one know what's happened to the forum notifications? I don't appear to be receiving any anymore. crap.gif

For a good read, and a giggle on the use of NOS, and engines.... visit this site.

I'm trying to determine if it's possible to run two simultaneous instances of Firefox with different profiles for testing reasons.

At the moment, I have to close down one profile before the second will run. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

TIA,

L.B.

Just thought I'd let someone know that the Windows 7 Hardware "Support" forum has one too many "o"s in it's name...
